(Josh never really wanted to try heroine, but his friends were, and so he decided to try it.)

(The first time he tried it, he was hooked. Now he has an addiction to it.)

(He can feel it is doing something to him, and he doesn't feel to great anymore.)

(He is smoking it, which makes him sick. He is feeling bad."

(The drugs are wearing him down, but he needs more, and is in constant pursuit of his next fix.)

(It's nit a joke anymore. He didn't think he could get addicted, but look where it got him.)

(He had tones of excuses for if he got caught, and he had to fake it so it didn't seem like anything was suspicious."

(He is starting to break down because of all it. He made a mess of his life.)

(Josh has become dependant on it, and keeps using. He tells himself he can quit at any time, but he can't. He may have tried to quit, but he hasn't been successful.)

(He is getting worse, and really messed up his life.)

The song push is about Josh's heroine addiction. This becomes apparent with lines like "using like it's going out of style" and "this'll be the last time(every time's the last time)"
