According to Josh himself, Shake Tramp is about how Artists are treated in the industry. How they want a specific sound, or how artists have to go out of their way in order to satisfy the Higher Ups in order to get produced and make it in the world. "Slap ya like a bitch and you take it like a whore" in my opinion now, is sort of how people like sex appeal in music. Sex Sells in a sense. And so on and so on.
