   Feeling Small is about Josh and his struggle with bulimia.
   
   This one's of you, taking your pill
   You sometimes forget, and that's okay I guess
   (Trying to get better but it's hard)
   This one's of me at my sister's wedding day (threw up at his sisters wedding)
   
   Between these spaces, it all got wasted
   
   You're barely breathing, I know
   (Getting worse)
   What if it started to show?
   (Worried people will find out)
   And I know it won't ever change
   But it hurts the same
   (He can't stop)
   
   This one's of me, throwing up for you
   And I'm paler still, and that's the way you wanted it
   (Controlled by the sickness)
   This one's of you; certain of cancer
   (With disease)
   
   Between these spaces, it all got wasted on feeling small
   (Only wants to feel small)
   
   You're barely breathing, I know
   What if it's starting to show
   And I know it won't ever change
   But it hurts the same
   (Already explained)
   
   The fever broke somewhere behind July
   (Sickest times)
   Remember how I weighed 135
   (Lowest weight)
   And we collide

   Feeling afraid
   (It's taking over and he's scared)

   This sounds like a guy who has bulimia and a girlfriend who "forgets" to take the pill. They both go to his sisters wedding and he is rummaging through photographs taken at the event and he realizes how screwed-up the world is.

   Feeling small is about looking back at the person that you used to be, and wondering how you could be so dIfferent now. It's about opening your eyes to the choices you've made and finding yourself scared. Because you didn't make them for yourself, but they've already taken over you.
