Owl City: Dementia Meaning
Dementia Lyrics
Every bone in my back shiver up and down
Keep the pace just in case all the magic dies
'Cause this is driving me crazy
Every voice in my head shouted 'yes' and 'no'
Every freight train of thought...

It's About Refusing to live in the past or regret. He's basically telling us to let the past stay in the past, and keep moving forward. But it could also be about life it self, and how it drives us crazy, and how it gives that sense of Delirium and Euphoria. The Euphoria being the good parts of life. The Delirium being the bad parts of life.

It means that adam is fallen in love again but he scare ling to hurt again! Its a nice song I like it. I'm mekson delegend.

the song just lulls me away whenever i hear it.rather it even sooths me due to its nice melodic ochestra

It could mean two things. It could be for the Dementia the disease or it could be love. How you feel around that one person and thoughts of past relationships.

Just njoy the song........the thought which will come to u during listening the song will be the own meaning of u.......
-
I think it means, "I'm in love with u but I can't handle it, so relize I can't be near u. You live your life and dreams to the fulliest, and I stay back and watch."
I also agree with the the commet above. :) -
I feel that the song describes a persons feelings after they've been hurt by love too many times. It compares the insanity of love to that of a mental illness. In this case, the one singing has fallen in love again, or perhaps has met (or knows) someone but is scared to act upon their feelings out of fear of being hurt once more. Thus they stay in the background like a shadow and watch the love interest from a distance.
-
I think that Adam is comparing either the timeline of love or a breakup to loosing memory, which is one of the main symptoms of dementia.
