Owl City: Good Time Meaning
Song Released: 2012
Good Time Lyrics
It's always a good time
Whoa oh oh oh,
It's always a good time
Woke up on the right side of the bed
What's up with this Prince song inside my head?
Hands up if you're down to get down tonight
'Cause it's always a good...

2TOP RATED
#2 top rated interpretation:It means wherever you are whatever your doing everything and anything is always a good time and can be because everyday sure bad things can happen but no matter what it's just a good time because you have a thousand reasons to smile every day and that beats having a Terrible day.

It's gonna be alright. We don't even have to try.
Doesn't matter when; it's always a good time then.
I was thinking about these couple of lines to realize that good times aren't the product of a plot pre-planned and/ or too much efforts executed. Also, the song sounds more promising than positive. In words, inspit your life has always been empty for long long time, so you built-in solid thoughts " things will never change", good times will find their way to you, not the way you formulated to have them, but the way you never thought it would be. Then, things will be alright for a while. I reckon. -
This song makes me uncomfortable because it says "down to get down tonight" and it makes me think the song is about something else

I love this song I wanted to be like summer time and so it’s fun to do that. But when I was on vacation with my family we went to the beach and so when we get to the beach I wrote this song about my summer and how my life become, but when my producer from Jonas brothers Greg Kirstin he wrote it with joe, but he asked nick to find couple summer songs we want to hear.

GOOD TIME song is a song that states how fun life is for us if we really live in with it.

Why does someone on every owl city song have to say “oh this is obviously about religion” it makes me uncomfortable that people think that everything is about religion. I mean yeah there’s probably something out there but that doesn’t mean it’s necessarily a god. Yeah some songs actually are about god. But I tend to avoid them for a reason.

The opposite of the Sans battle on the Genocide route in Undertale.
Oh, uh,yeah. Spoilers. -
Having fun and forgetting about the bad stuff for a while. :)
-
It's about sex. "We don't even have to try, it's always a good time." "Woke up on the right side of the bed." "Get down tonight."
-
I think its merely a case of "I don't care what happens or where I am, nothing will spoil my good time"
-
I think it's talking about having fun but not doing any thing STUPID! LOL

This is a song about divine grace and its everpresent availability. The Prince is an obvious reference... As is "we don't even have to try."
Twilight represents their passing from the world and the fearlessness and eagerness with which they are accepting it now. Doesn't matter when....
The juxtaposition of the exuberance of youth with the song's meaning brings a joyful lightness to it. -
You don't have to do anything illegal or promiscuous to have fun.
