   just saying to never let go of your dreams, though the interpretation is pretty obvious. ;D

   Or maybe I'm just a dreamer"
   He's saying that maybe it's just a fantasy that he's chasing, but he's going to go for it anyway.
   
   "This picnic will soon depart
   Real life, I'm sad to see you go
   I'll miss you with all my heart
   But I'd rather be alone" The easy part is over, and he's leaving his normal life for something better. He'll miss his past, but he'd rather pursue his dream than spend life doing nothing.
   "So I'll drag the anchor up
   And rest assured, 'cause dreams don't turn to dust"
   He's going to stop being idle, and start believing in himself.
   
   
   "I made for the countryside
   And my eyes never grew so wide" He's made the first step, and realizes that it was a good decison to follow his dream.
   "Apple raspberry river blue

   In the sound I gladly drowned
   Into the emerald underground

   He did leave a life behind, but it's worth it.
