#1 top rated interpretation:This song seems to be about any girl who has trouble with love, more with understanding it and going with it rather than not knowing what it feels like, she's a lover, she has feelings but she doesn't know how to express them, how to make them burst out herself, because love is not as easy for her as it may be for others.
She wants love in her life, but she seems not to understand it, and maybe words about love stuck in her throat but she can't just bring them out.
It seems she has a guy, or maybe by "night" what Adam is trying to say is that she dreams about a guy and in her dreams she holds her hand, but she can't make that a reality.
Adam is telling her that love ain't easy but that time will bring her true love and all the fear she has about it will just go away with the right guy. --maloo -
I think it means that a girl like a boy and she thinks about him and dreams about him a lot but Adams saying she shouldn't be his girlfriend and that God will bring her the right one.
