Penelope Scott: Feel Better Meaning
Feel Better Lyrics
No one's ever gonna love me like that again
I don't wanna get over you
I wanna sit with you in bed
I don't wanna feel better
I'd give anything to miss you again
I don't wanna get over it
I wanna get under it...

I interpret the song to be about Gypsy Rose and how she basically finds someone on the internet that loved her and she wanted to get away from her mom who was making lies about her daughter having all these illnesses

Lyric interpretation of this song. Girl feels worthless and unloved. She longs for her ended relationship with her ex-bf. He loved her but ended his relationship with her. For the recent comment, you have the same predicament with the writer. Like the writer's ex-bf and your ex-bf. They ended things, so that means they moved on. You have to move on to. You'll meet the guy who is meant for you. Live your life. Love your life. Have an intention or aim in life. Know your passion in life. Have a meaningful life without a bf/husband. Life is way precious to be in despair. Love yourself, your family, and your friends. Life is to be lived. You have to move on or else you will be stuck with the past. Live in the present moment. Feel better soon girl!

my interpretation is mostly about me but yeah. I feel like the writer had a relationship while they weren't at their best state and they had to break up with the person and although they thought they moved on, they never did and they regret their actions so they dont think they deserve to feel better

i believe it's falling in love with someone who isn't real , or someone you hardly know . like , falling in love w the man in your dreams , or falling in love w/ someone online n them being twice your age n using that to their advantage . after realizing this , it starts eating you up inside . it hurt you , and yet it made you feel wonderful . your heart ached but was set aflame . you don't want to feel better cuz of it . an even worse scenario , you're in a coma , n you liked someone when falling into the basically eternal sleep . you create a perfect world in your head , and you're so in love w/ them that you don't realize it was never real . at least that's what i got out of it .

I interpreted it as the writer was in love with somebody and had a great relationship with them but then they died in some way.
-
I think that thos song is her trying to vent about how she ruined her last relationship and just wants to go back to how things were.
