Shinedown: Amaryllis Meaning
Song Released: 2012
Amaryllis Lyrics
I'll face the weather before me
In a while now I'll race the irony
And buy back each word of my eulogy
All the uninvited tragedies
Step outside
Ask yourself now
Where would you be without
Days...

Addiction 100%. If you are in early recovery this is a very inspirational song. This whole album is a tribute to addiction, battles and finding yourself. Thank you Brett <3

The hopeless, or hopeful romantic, has in his or her mind their own idea of what real love can be in their life. Many of us have, over the years, imagined who this love is. "Do I remind you of someone you never met"? But maybe you've spent most of your life knowing that person existed and was out there somewhere (..."A lonely silhouette"), This image you hold in your heart of him or her. "I want to know you" I have to find out, but already know that you are the one I have loved all my life. It took so long to find and now I'm here,.. "Bloom"!

I believe this song talks about someone who wasn't noticed before by a certain someone but later, after they got to know each other they grew close, fell in love and they opened up to each other.
