   It's an anthem not just to the bullied, but also to the bullies themselves. Letting the bullied know they aren't alone and that they can stand proud as who they are while bringing awareness to bullies that, regardless of their reasons, being bullied hurts and in some cases can lead to suicide.

   Basically, being bullied is the worst thing to happen to a child. I got bullied a lot and listening to this song made me fight back like the bad girl I am. Shinedown is saying that no matter how badly that person is treating you, don’t be afraid to fight back.

   Bully is a song that condones survival. If the bully pushes you push them back, don't take it. Don't let the bully think they are allowed to treat you like however you are treated. Stand up for yourself and survive their attacks.
