He is trying to choose the right path to take in life but he cannot choose which path is right or wrong, like in the last line of the bridge of the song, where he says,"There's always something new, some path I'm supposed to choose, with no particular rhyme or reason." This mean there is always some kind of path in life that he is forced to follow, but the problem is that he does not know which path is the correct one to choose. This is stated in the previous line, which goes, "I'm born to indecision." When someone says that they are born to indecision, what they are actually saying is that they cannot make up their mind about something. So, the line "I'm born to indecision" in Burning Bright means that the singer cannot make up his mind about the path or paths that he is supposed to follow. In other words, he does not know which road to take.
