It's about someone suicidal, begging for help from someone. To pull them out of depression, and help them get better. They don't want to feel tired and sad anymore, they don't want to hate themselves. They need someone to be there and convince them to live. It's really a beautiful song.

I have a person I've always wanted to just ask them out, but they either get a boyfriend or are out of touch because they're at another school. I wake up almost every morning feeling like I can't live with myself for not making my move, I'm my own worst enemy right now. But just seeing her face just gives me another reason to never surrender. But even if I'm not who I wanna be, I can still try. That's what this song means to me, a person that's impossible, but strangely simple. (Btw, this person is basically my clone so no wonder why it's hard!)

It's a cry for help. Hes asking if they know what its like to be so down. He wants to get better and he's begging someone to help him. "Never surrender" is him saying don't give up on me.

What I think it means is no matter how hard life gets, just look past it and keep moving forward. There's always people that love and care for you, so never surrender. This actually reminds me of Elementary School, where I was bullied mercilessly, and had no friends. For no reason. Then in third grade somebody stood up for me, and had told me "Look past it all. Never Give Up. Your an unique person,and don't let them tell you else wise." This song really reminds me of my best friend, so always remember, look past all the bad things in life, and always move forward. For get you're mistakes and loses, and never surrender to the fact that you would never get them back, because you could get something better in return.

My personal interpretation is that some has a problem in their life, and they notice a problem. As this person looks to find out how to correct the flaw, he/she decides suicide is the only way out. This person cries out to God asking for forgiveness. And with God's mercy, this person is forgiven and became a whole new person.

My interpretation is that, he says "Never surrener" to death. He is saying that no matter how hard things get, you can overcome just about anything as long as you have somebody by your side to help you through. I noticed that some people are saying that person is God, but im not so sure that it has anything to do with god. I think hes just talking about anybody ingeneral that will "put you back together" Friend, family, ect.

There's someone who cares, don't surrender to the pressures 'cuz ther's hope at the end of a seemingly hopeless trial. We all reach a breaking point; that point where we just want to give in. This song is to tell everyone that someone else feels that too. Its a desperate plea to someone (God) that they would stop the need for surrender.
