Rise Lyrics

All I see is
Shattered pieces
I can't keep it hidden like a secret
I can't look away!
From all this pain in a world we made!

Everyday you need
A bulletproof vest
To save yourself from what you could never guess!
Am I safe today?
When I...

To me,Rise is about the horrible stuff happening to the world, like school shootings,
wars like The Cold War,and World War 2 [Bombings/Holocaust/Communism] or the
Afghanistan and Syria War.During those times people lost
    their jobs,their hope,and their homes.

I think this song is about the Tribulation(The time period of 7 years after Jesus comes back to the Earth). The Antichrist and his army wreak havoc through the lands, and the Christians that accepted their faith during that time try to fight it. They are counting down until, Jesus comes back yet again, when He will rule instead of the Antichrist.

On my point of view that God Angels and his believer will Rise towards God, while the enemies are trying to stop us from God but We will Rise Christ will Rise but all the chaos is from the AntiChrist

I feel personally like its about the world these days the last part is what gets me...the people talking

    "911"

    "there's a guy here with a gun"

    "ma'am? ma'am?"

And so on and so forth.

I think its talking about the fact there's so many killing's and shootings. (And abuse but You hopefully get what I mean) and the "rise and revolution" means rises against the world today

To me it describes Armageddon and the last half of revelation i have to sat it dose make sense if you honestly think of it and know some of revelation, it states that so many will die and not find christ this to me is from the view of a believer during revelation seeing the carnage of the new world devastated by the antichrist and gods judgements
    "All I see is
    Shattered pieces
I can't keep it hidden like a secret
    I can't look away!
From all this pain in a world we made!"

    "Everyday you need
    A bulletproof vest
To save yourself from what you could never guess!
    Am I safe today?
When I step outside in the wars we wage!"
means that you dont know if youl come back alive

    "Our future's here and now,
    Here comes the countdown!"
this refers to the fact that time is short and the belivers are counting down the clock to the glorious appearing(christs second coming)

"Sound it off, this is the call!
    Rise in revolution!
It's our time to change it all,
    Rise in revolution!
Unite and fight, to make a better life!
    Everybody one for all,
Sound off, this is the call, tonight, we rise!"
again this is armagedon the war of the believers and the antichrists army this is saying all believers we have to fight!

    "Rise.
    Tonight, we rise
    Rise.
    Tonight, we rise!"

the glorious appering and the ultimate battle of good and evil

    "Like a hand grenade,
    Thrown in a hurricane,
    Spinning in chaos,
    Trying to escape the flame,
    Yesterday is gone!
Faster than the blast of a car bomb!"
this one is tricky but it basicly says, again chaos from the antichrist( suprised?)

    "And when the scars heal,
    The pain passes,
As hope burns, we rise from the ashes!
    Darkness fades away!
And a light shines on a brave new day!"

after jesus comes and defeats satin a new world will come all will be perfect

    "Our future's here and now,
    Here comes the countdown!"
again the clock is ticking away christians will beat the antichrist and his armies

"Sound it off, this is the call!
    Rise in revolution!
It's our time to change it all,
    Rise in revolution!
Unite and fight, to make a better life!
    Everybody one for all,
Sound off, this is the call, tonight, we rise!"
we must all come together to fight the antichrist and his forces!

    "Rise.
    Tonight, we rise
    Rise.
    Tonight, we rise!"
self explanatory, we ban together to fight

    "Everybody one for all,
Sound off, this is the call!"
again a call to arms from the lord

    "Rise
    Like we're alive
    Tonight, we rise
    Make a better life
    Tonight, we rise!"
    time to change the world

    "Rise, rise, rise in revolution
    Rise, rise, rise in revolution
    Rise."
time to rise up and fight

To me, the song is primarily about war and bloodshed.

Many of the lines talk about war and revolution, so one can only assume the singers/listeners are revolting against some sort of force that is trying to control them.

At one line, a "call" is mentioned; I assumed that this was a call of summons to those revolting, and to gather them, like a wolf pack howling to each other.

So there is a war in which they are revolting against a power of force or society, and it's so violent that (in the last few parts) people are losing their jobs and their hope.
