   I think (In my opinion) It's Adam's Goodbye song to the band. "If you try to pick us your gonna cut yourself". That verse I think it's a Kick in the teeth to the new singer about how the band would flop if the new singer tried to just pick up the band where it was and act like there was no difference. That's my opinion.

   Stanza 4: They didn’t know how broken they really are and it was only the beginning. They are slowly getting broken even more with them knowing it, but they didn’t know how long it was going to stay.
   Stanza 5:They’re still broken and soulless. They could hurt others around them.

   I think (in my personal opinion )that it's about a couple who thought they were on top of the world , we're strong and had everything "we were fast, never meant to die, going up to highway 45 "until things start to fall apart "the bricks began to fall, we could see the cracks along the wall "they saw how weak and "fragile "they saw that the love wasn't there and trying to put back the relationship "you're going to cut yourself "hurt yourself in the process.

   I think this song could be about someone that feels like they're damaged or broken "all we are is broken glass", and doesn't think that they deserve attention or are worth worrying about "thrown to the floor, we were never meant to last". They feel depressed (because depression can make you feel empty and worthless) "all we are, are empty shells" and feel like if anybody helps them, that person will get dragged down with them "try to pick us up, you're gonna cut yourself".

   This song is about someone who was in with a gang or club and felt as if he were on top of the world and then it all fell apart. It also explains that they are all there because they were simply pushed off to the side as children
