Three Days Grace: Life Starts Now Meaning
Life Starts Now Lyrics
Every time I turn around
You say you should've
Been gone by now,
You think that everything's wrong,
Ask me how to carry on,
We'll make it through
Another day
Just hold on
Cause life starts now,
You've done...
-
I think it’s about someone who loves somebody who’s entire life is misery. And all they are trying to do is find happiness. So the one that loves them is just trying to bring them to life. Having a very easing life they don’t know anything about the hardship the other has gone through and all they want to do is stop them from hurting.
-
Its about someone who is depressed
-
I feel it could interpret someone who's coming out, wether it be their sexual oriebtation or gender identity. 'I've watched the weight of your world come down' meaning they've finally embraced themselves, and 'change the way you've lived for so long' being them being themselves to the world (coming out, transitioning).
This probably isn't what the song was about, but it fits perfectly. -
In all honesty it sounds like he is talking to someone instead of the song being focused solely on one person. He wants to help whoever is feeling the way they are. Give them the strength to keep going. "All this hate, take this life and make it yours. All this hate, take your heart and let it love again." He wants them, whoever they may be, to be happy
-
Perhaps it's about someone who has been bullied, etc. for a long time and when the issue at hand finally ceases, they can start living now. 'Life starts now.'
