5 Seconds of Summer: Castaway Meaning
Castaway Lyrics
Oh oh
Young love, close the chapter, there's no ever after
Fell fast, ended faster, yeah
Oh ohh
Late night conversations, led to complications
Now my heart is in my hands
Oh ohh
But you walked out and left me...

alcatraz in San Francisco, they went there one time and liked it

I think it’s a song about a relationship going wrong. “How’d we drift so far away” is like I thought we were doing ok, but what happened?
-
It’s about a young couple who fall deeply in love, they spend a large portion of their lives together, planning their future, and hoping to get out of the shitty place they’re in.. but as their relationship goes on the girl starts to loose hope and her feelings towards the boy. She soon leaves him and he is crushed and “Castaway” is representing him being distant and feeling like he is completely alone with nothing left to hold. It’s a fucking really sad song :(

Its about alcatraz, in san francisco.

It's about a guy who was in a relationship with a girl but she left him and he just feels alone and “castaway” is a metaphor for his heartbreak and “nothing left but picture frames” is probably about how he doesn’t have any pics of them together anymore and it represents how she isn't in his life anymore.
-
It's about teenagers fall in love, sleeps late about their chatting then one day the girl left the guy and the guy is heartbroken and asks him self y would the girl left him
