5 Seconds of Summer: Voodoo Doll Meaning
Voodoo Doll Lyrics
Why'd you want to go and make me feel this way?
And I don't understand what's happened,
I keep saying things I never say.
I can feel you watching even when you're nowhere to be seen,
I can feel you touching even when...

#1 top rated interpretation:This song is basically about a boy denying heavily about his feelings for the girl and is putting all the blame (about him not being abke to control himself) on her.
-
2TOP RATED
#2 top rated interpretation:He doesnt want to like this girl and then started to fall for her and he doesn't understand it so he uses that metaphor that she has a voodoo doll for him because he can't controll himself now because he likes her so much
-
3TOP RATED
#3 top rated interpretation:Have you ever had that crush that you have no idea why you are attracted to them, but you are? That's this song.
-
This song is about a guy who has never loved someone before so he is unaware of this foreign feeling he has about this girl he knows. He is so confused on what keeps on dragging him to her and what keeps him making her top priority over everything even his friends. So instead of realising it's love, this dude think this girl is a crazy voodoo witch.
-
A boy doesn't really like this girl but for some reason, he has fallen for her. He feels like he can't stop loving her, and almost feels as though he's being pulled towards the girl, maybe by a spell?
-
i think that this song is about a boy in a relationship and he is scared about the fact that he is so in love with this other person, that he feels like he can control his feelings or actions. She had got him under a sort of spell and he doesnt know how to feel about it.
-
It’s about a guy can’t control the love he has for a girl. It even makes do weird and crazy things.
-
I am pretty sure this is about a guy who doesn't like this girl or at least doesn't want to like this girl. It can actually be the system of "tables turn" in this case hate turns to love. But as time flies, this guy falls for the girl. They made it sound like the girl is using a voodoo doll to make the guy fall in love with her but really-it's a metaphor.
-
I feel it's directed for Arzaylea. Ever since Luke dated her she's been a total beotch. Sorry I have to keep it clean but basically he wants to leave Arzaylea but she doesn't want him to.
She's in control of his relationship -
its probably the guy has a crush on a girl he used to hate so he doesnt get y so they go like 'where r u hiding ur voodoo doll' stating that she uses a vodoo doll to make him fall for her...i guess smthn like that
-
i think 99.9% of these are right.
...but hun, he isn't in a abusive relationship, like where tf hae you been at? under a rock? lol soz but a girl has gotta be honest with this kinda stuff. -
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
I think either A:
He is starting to fall for a girl he use to hate and they were kind of forbidden because their like "frenimies"
Or B:
He has one of those "obsessive girlfriends" and he wants to leave her but no matter how much he tries, he can't get away from her for whatever reason (I'm assuming good sex loll) -
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
I feel it's about a guy who has hated a girl for a while and all of a sudden he likes her and he doesn't know why he falls for her and he's mad At himself for doing this he said he wouldn't do.
