5 Seconds of Summer: Lost Boy Meaning
Lost Boy Lyrics
I feel so lonely when I'm in a crowded space
You left with me without direction
'Cause I've been from place to place
Trying to bring you back
I've walked for days and days
'Cause I can't face...
-
This song gives me the feels. It reminds me of when i lost my best friend, and i got her back, and it felt good, to hear her voice, to see her face, after so long.

the truth is, luke went to the market with his mother, liz hemmings. and it happened that liz disappeared. "is anybody there who can rescue?" so he's probably asking who's willing to help him find his mom.
-
Lost boy is about Luke. Since he sings most of it and wrote it. The meaning behind the song is not about Alisha, but it's about a girl. It's about any girl honestly. You see, Luke is depressed, and he needs downtown to rescue him. "Is anybody there, who can resume somebody like me?" Luke is looking for that one girl that will rescue him, and it's 2016 now, and he still hasn't found that girl.
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
Basically the guy in the song has been recently dumped and doesn't like living in a world where he isn't with the girl, feeling lost and alone "without you I'm a lost boy," He doesn't think that he'll ever find someone that he loved as much as her.
"Is anybody there who can rescue?"
