   i think this song is about HIV, when her partner is infected, she's telling her partner that she'll fight along with him/her no matter what happen, they both should keep holding on. there's nothing they can do/say about the truth (HIV).
   
   she's hoping that someday the cure would be available (it could all go away) before it's too late (before the door closed).

   I think the song means that, her friend is in tough situation and needs someone. And she says that "we'll make it through", as in what ever her friend is going through they will make it through together.

   I think this song is talking about friendship and maybe the relationship is rising between the two people, like they could be in love with eachother but know they cant be together, but they can keep holding on because they dont want to lose eachother.

   It's about a girl who has this friend and she's explaining to her friend that no matter what happens, she'll be there for him/her. Her friend starts doing things like cutting, sex, and stuff like that, so she keeps telling him/her that she'll always be there no matter what she/he does. She is telling her friend that she'll be there until one or both of them die.

   I think you mean keep holding on. It's kinda saying, she'll comfort the 'you'. "cause you know I'm here for you" that they will get through whatever comes at them in life"Cause you know we'll make it through". That together they are stronger than apart m"with you by my side I will fight and defend". To keep holding on to that hope that it will all turn out for the best. "keep holding on"
