Black Veil Brides: Smoke and Mirrors Meaning
Smoke and Mirrors Lyrics
You become the prey again
I can see your skin is crawling
Lipstick cases and sin
Wake up Wake up Wake up
You're drowning
Same old song and dance
Wake up Wake up Wake up
My Darling

OK dude I total agree but who says it`s about Andy? I mean it could be for anyone.Anyways it is about a person who was cheating/and or lying about loving them and that the other person found out,so it`s time for them to stop and to realize that they cant be fooled anymore, that all they said was just smoke and mirrors.

i think its about Scout cheating
I hear it in her voice, she's stalling
"You were just another man"
Your claims of love are falling
Now it's clear you can't win
i think this is about when he started to realize/ found out and now she cant win because he's figured it out
Lost in love you are
Out of touch so far
An illusion
It's all just smoke and mirrors
Always chasing scars
Never gets you far
An illusion
It's all just smoke and mirrors
this is about how he thought she loved him back but it wasnt real smoke and mirrors is a metaphore for and illusion.
I'd rather be alone
Than put you on a throne
And lose my faith in smoke and mirrors
this is saying that hed rather be single
Black painted eyes
Cover the lies
It's time you threw away your cruel disguise
hes saying that its time she gives up on lying to him -
it seems like its about self-harm... looking at the lyrics and listening to them carfully...
