   He tries to label the lower classes as willies and vagabonds but never quite pulls it off with esteem. I know Tom, Mark and Travis are out there somewhere thinking of their next willy song and whatnot and that gives me great comfort. Who knows, maybe one day you who are reading this will take comfort from me your hero- thats all I would say.

   I think this song is about this guy who is in love with this girl, but the girl's boyfriend is treating her like crap and she still won't leave him. She knows she should leave him, but she doesn't because she thinks she loves him. "Why leave when you claim it is love, but why stay when you're not the only one..." this part just shows that she loves him and should stay...but also should leave him because her boyfriend is cheating on her. This song is pretty much about a love triangle with a guy who loves a girl and her abusive, cheating boyfriend.
