Blink-182: Give Me One Good Reason Meaning
Give Me One Good Reason Lyrics
all the kids they laugh as if they planned it
why do girls want to peirce their nose
and walk around in torn pantyhose
oh ya
i like the ones who say they listen to their punk rock
i like the kids...
-
this song is about teens and a teens life. "mom and dad they quiet dont understand it", its saying how teens parents dont understand why, clothing and apperances mean so much. all the cliques that kids are in. like the preps, the jocks. how kids change who they really are just to fit in. like how girls pierce thier nose, and walk around in torn pantyhose just to fit in with a certain cliques or group of people. he is asking for one goo reason why they have to change, why they should be like them. and how even when a kid changes his apperance, how he still gets made fun of. how things just dont make sense in a teens life

This song encourages teenagers to act different and be proud to be different. The line, "Why do girls wanna pierce their nose, and walk around in torn pantyhose, I like the one's who say they like the punk rock, I " expresses that not all boys like their girls fake and slutty.
