In this song, Eminem makes a point about gun control. He raps through the perspective of Stephen Paddock, the mass murderer who perpetrated the 2017 Las Vegas shooting. He fired over 1,000 bullets, killing 60 people and injuring almost 900 more. But Eminem attempts a double meaning, as the majority of the lyrics could just as well relate to Slim Shady himself, preparing for a concert in his hotel room. This song also includes parts from Simon & Garfunkel's (and later Disturbed's) masterpiece, the Sound of Silence, as David Draiman sings, "Hello, darkness, my old friend."
