Eminem: Like Toy Soldiers Meaning
Song Released: 2004
Like Toy Soldiers Lyrics
We all fall down...
[Chorus]
Step by step, heart to heart, left right left
We all fall down like toy soldiers
Bit by bit, torn apart, we never win
But the battle wages on for toy...

Just listen to the song, doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out, and besides you can say the same sentence to 50 people and EVERY answer will be unique. The only way 2 EVER know is to ask him. IT'S NOT WHAT THE SONG REALLY MEANS,IT'S WHAT IT MEANS TO U, like looking at you through the glass is about wanting to be famous, but it will ALWAYS mean looking at someone you can't have to me.
-
You guys are all wrong. Hey borbas001 you idiot, tupac dided in 1996 and lear how to spell.
Toy soldiers is about em's beef with Benzino and Ja, then passing his beef to 50 and bugz A.K.A. Karnell Pitts dying a short time befor the song. And if you watch the music video you will see that proof is playing bugz and is not dead. Proof A.K.A. Deshaun Holton, died a year after. Thats also how swift go into D12, bugz last wish was to replace him with swift. -
To me this song is about all the shit that is goin between ja and 50 and how ja started in with eminem and bringin his daughters name into one of his songs. It is also about the 6th memeber of d12 who never got to become a member Karnell Pitts aka bugz. He was the one on the table in the music video. and swift was made the sixth member after bugz got shoot.and someone said that this song was for proof well this song came out before his death.
-
He is saying that death can change everything. He is trying to end the beef he has with ja rule for saing "Your moms a crackhead, Kims a whore, what will haley be?" and the "_____" doesnit have anything to do with tupac, I think its more of a blackmail thing to ja rule
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
Eminem's version of the song means that he has to stick with his crew and feel guilty because a guy in his "gang" died. (thats whats on the music video)
But Maratika did this song first... a while ago [without the rapping and such lol] and it definitely means something different between the two artists that did it. -
It's basically about how rappers get in stupid fights with each other and the people that actually get hurt are the rapper's friends, family, and their "crew". Eminem explains how he just wants to put an end to the whole 50 cent and ja rule beef before it goes any further.
