Eminem: Rap God Meaning
Song Released: 2013
Rap God Lyrics
Look, I was gonna go easy on you not to hurt your feelings
But I'm only going to get this one chance
(Six minutes, six minutes)
Something's wrong, I can feel it
(Six minutes, six minutes, Slim Shady, you're on)
Just a feeling I've...

1TOP RATED
#1 top rated interpretation:I think this song is about how Eminem was kind of losing popularity, but he's back now, and better than ever. He is saying that he is the best rapper, that's why it's called "Rap God." I think in the music video that he is in that room and plugged in/strapped down to that chair because whoever is holding him there is making him the "Rap God." Because then when the fastest part of the song starts, he gets out of the chair, starts rapping, then floating. And even if I'm wrong 100 words in 15 seconds is crazy. So however you interpret the song, Eminem is still the "Rap God."

Actually is a response to Tom MacDonald Fake Woke, where Tom MacDonald is being negative towards Eminem, but Eminem is bigger, Eminem is just putting all this new rappers in place, great song, Tom MacDonald is good but a narcissist, Eminem Rules. Hope to see a real rap battle here.

he is saying that he is the god over all rappers and like a god he will never be brought down except by one thing death and even after that his legacy will still live on and paying respect to his OG fans like me
-
Eminem is giving a “fuck you” to every single other rapper in the world cuz he’s the god of rap and nobody else compares to him
-
I think rap god is about how he is and was a boss and he shows this song as a message to listeners that he is a rap god.
-
I really agree with you like for real and I also think that eminem is the best rapper of all and I really feel sorry I wish you could open your eyes in a real way that he could really ask sorry to God cause I know he was born to worship God
-
I think he's actual song is saying he's In the illuminati but he's trying to escape.. Because he's going to get killed...
And his way to do that is grow until your bigger all of them.
And that's why his music is so damn good because he's realised people are more into the pop stuff. So he's changing it up and rocking the hell out of these new tunes and so is everyone else after he started! -
I think Eminem is trying to say that God is stronger than the devil, and he has been forgiven and he wants everyone to know the love of God. Even though Eminem still struggles he doesn't swear as much unless he has something important to say, I really believe that Eminem has become a born again christian and he just wants to tell people that God is the way, he's the truth, the love, and eternal life. And he still struggles with the hate for Woman but he is overcoming that hatred and his issues. I think all the people in the music industries wish they could get out, but they think they can't be forgiven but they can! God forgives!!

in an interview someone said to him "Lil Wayne said he was sent from god to teach everyone how to rap." so eminem simply replied "I didnt send anyone." menaing "Im the god of rap and there's no way in hell woulld i send someone who thinks a good rpa is : Reading the book,
its a good book. -
this song is pretty random and i think its about him talking about different people doing stuff. the music video is about him in this room thats captivating him or something but when it finally gets to the fast part, he opens his eyes and starts singing along, so he is trying to prove that he is the best rapper in the world (personaly i think he is)

I kinda feel like this song is about Eminem saying he once was fading out of popularity but now he is back in the spotlight. Also, i think he is saying that Satan can have control again. He is almost giving credit to Satan for his success. "I'm so drunk, Satan take the fucking wheel." That is why i think that. Either way, I love the song and Eminem.
