Stay Wide Awake Lyrics

Yeah, yeah, Follow me, follow me
Come with me to the dark side of the force
No man would boldly go to this place
The devil only knows of this world so dark
And oh so cold, it's oh so cold, oh so cold oh!

Soon as my flow starts I compose...

the meaning of the song is that there are defensless ignorant girls out there who think nothing bad will ever happen to them, and they just happen to attract the wrong kind attention from bad people, at a non convienent time. and there are honestly so many crazy people that could potentially be out to harm you.
a side so cold with predators.
theese girls are pretty much fucked.
hence the lyrics in the chorus " boy (not male meaning, just a figue of speech)
you think your clever don't ya, girl you think your so smart, meaning they do not understand people& actually arnt that smart. they are oblivious to the fact that insane people are all around them, evil people, such as ted bundy as mentioned in the song.(a nutorious serial killer in the states whom no one suspected for years.)
in the other verses it is just describing actual events that have happened in the past, resulting in deaths of theese helpless subjects.
over all i personally think that eminem is trying to send a message out to us young people, females, or people who are just more easily targeted for being vulnerable.
trying to possibly forshadow that it could happen to anyone.
its a cold world, you may not understand.

The song is a clever presentation of how a serial killer’s/psychopath’s mind works, Em does a great job at creating a sketchy, scary atmosphere through his agrresive flow and tone, which further helps picture the situations from the song.
The reference to Ted Bundy might just actually be him rapping about Ted Bundy since he raped, violated and bitten his victims. Monster inside of me that I’m afraid of but I can’t contain, vacancy in my tummy, growling of my stomach are really good metaphores for feelings harbored by people with serious mental conditions prone to violence towards others, such as serial killers/rapists.

The meaning is about his daughter and how a person wanted to rape her well and did... This is what I think and you can tell I the lyrics.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

Eminem wanted to be normal like everyone else i’m sure a lot of his crazy serial killer style of songs were a way to get people to stop talking to him, didn’t work though.

Don't trust just anyone. Don't mess with the wrong person. Don't leave yourself vulnerable. And most importantly, pray and protect yourself from astral projectors and/or the Devil.
