Lady Gaga: Born This Way Meaning
Covered By: Glee Cast
Born This Way Lyrics
Just put your paws up
'Cause you were born this way, baby
My mama told me when I was young
We're all born superstars
She rolled my hair, put my lipstick on
In the glass of her...
-
This is about Gaga's love in God and he is perfect and makes us with perfect "flaws" if you will. That can't keep us from loving and understanding. we are who we are because of H-I-M

Let me say a few things first:
1-One of my friends is gay, I DON'T CARE!
2-I am a Christian, so's Ms. Gaga
3-I'm a little monster.
Look, I don't care about gayness, I know gay people and I don't care. Sure, I'll never be gay, but like I said, my friend's gay. Everyone hates her but I like her.
Born this way is saying, "This is how you are! Celebrate it! You are an amazing gift from God and don't let anyone tell you different!"
I just wanna say, some things Gaga does is bad. But she is an artist and only she knows what it means. We could all be teribly wrong in our interpritations, only Mama Monster knows. -
i think this song is the best example for showing everyone that they should never feel insecure about themselves.I have felt insecure and people have made made me feel insecure about how I am. Now i dont let it bother me anymore. If someone gets in my way i say "u cant say that about me cuz u cant prove ot that it is true" or "i dont care what u think about me. as long as i have positive feelings bout myself then i am fine." thank you Lady Gaga sooo so so so soo much 4 teaching me no matter what thqt i will always be beautiful in my own way cuz God makes no mistakes and i was born this way 4 a reason. to live my life!!!paws up!!!:)

this song is one hell of an inspiration because Lady Gaga is explaining that you were born this way for a reason and you should embrace it and love you and everyone else and never judge someone.
-
Ok, she may say to love yourself for who you are and God will love you to, but you need to consider something...
I am not saying that you cannot listen to this song or that I hate Lady Gaga, I am just putting this out. Now, if I killed people, and it made me happy, I loved to do it and accepted myself for it, and I was "born this way", will God still accept me into heaven? Absolutely not! Why? Because murder is sin... Just something to think about when interpreting lyrics. -
Um this is the most OBVIOUS message in a song ever. It needs no explanation: Be proud of who you are and show your true colors.
But for those are confused about the beginning "It doesn't matter if you love him or capital Him".
I'm positive the capital him is NOT SATAN, as a lot of people think, which is really stupid.
She means it's okay if you're gay/straight and you are attracted to men ("it doesn't matter if you love him").
Something I think a lot of people are confused about is the "capital him" part. Gaga does not mean H-I-M, she means the first letter is capitalized, the others are lowercased, resulting in "Him". This is referring to God. If you know anything about religion/ grammar, you should know that when referring to God, you always capitalize He or Him.
In conclusion, the first line is referring to appecting either one's preferences to "him" (men, whether you're gay or straight or bi) or one's adoration of God ("capital Him"). -
"It doesn't matter if you love him or capital HIM"
I always thought that meant either you are in love with somebody regardless of what others think or you love the band HIM (Finnish rock band) and don't care what others have to say on the type of music you choose to listen to. She is saying that love is love no matter what. I never understood how this song lead people to get deep into religion. -
I think she wants us all to feel comfortable in our own skin and you cant help wat you attracted to just like you cant help being short or tall,or black or white,or girl or boy. Follow @schizz01 on twitter if you agree and after just dance itll be ok ;)

What if your a paedofile... and born that way?
just cos you are born a certain way doesnt make it correct. -
This song is all about loving who you are. whether your straight, gay, bi, or trassexual it doesn't matter. just love yourself for who you are.
-
This is an easy one. It doesn't matter if you're straight, gay, bi, or trassexual, you just have to love yourself for who you are. And the most important thing is that God will love you for who you are. You just have to believe in what you believe in. For example, if you are gay and someone you know doesn't believe in gay rights, you just have to know what you believe in, not what some else tells you to believe in.
-
I think that the song's about accepting yourself and being who you are, no matter what problems others may have with you, because "God makes no mistakes" and therefore you should accept yourself and others as you/they are.
