Mayday Parade: Everything's an Illusion Meaning
Everything's an Illusion Lyrics
I can't think cause my heart is broken
And there's a bottle right next to me
I'll down a few drinks just to take the pain away
I wanna say all the things I need to say
I won't lie, I'll just tell them...

#1 top rated interpretation:It's about a man named Chad Wilson. He was my best friend as well and as Jakes(from Mayday Parade) friend. He died in an accident in Atlanta Ga last October.

This song is so sad but so amazing. I can play and sing this song, and I love every second of it. Just the lyrics, the melody and rhythm are amazing. I make music videos and I hope to one day make this music video with the band. They have been my favorite band for a long time and it is my dream to work with them. It is so sad that jake lost a friend like this, and only Derek knew about this song for a while. Until he helped jake perfect it. Now it is one of their best works.

MayDay Parade writes amazing and heart wrenching songs. This is about a close friend who died at the age of 24. He dedicated this song to him. :l

This breaks my heart. I lost my best friend in a car accident in 2006 (she was only 21) and Mayday Parade was one of 3 bands that kept me going that first year. There music and concerts we a comforting source when everything else in the world was all messed up to me. I know that your and Jake’s heart must still be so broken, but I promise it gets easier. Live your life for you and Chad, don’t miss even one beautiful opportunity you have. I will be thinking and praying for you as the one year tragiversary arrives on the 12th. It will be hard, but do something that will make you feel close to him. Xoxo.
