Black Cat Lyrics

Close up camera one
the hero sings in this scene
the boy that gets the girl gets to go home where they get married
but stop the tape,
the sunset still looks fake to me
the hero looks like he can't breathe
the damsel just left everything

This song is about one fucked up bitch and her boyfriend. The beginning is like a fairytale where he is the hero and he gets to be with the girl he thinks is his true love in the end. He then realizes through the course of the song that she was not being who she really was and was more of an actress playing the part. The hero then says the girl is basically evil (black cat) and wants to destroy everything he knows (fireworks in the city). She then kills the hero in the second verse and this confirms to the audience that this girl is crazy/evil/complete bitch. The montage of memories could be the hero remembering her how she was or him seeing the difference in her part and who she really is. Then in the final verse when anyone tries to help the hero the girl chases them away. She says its everyone elses fault and wants everyone to pity her instead (has a habit of making things sound way too tragic)it means that she is trying to take advantage of the situation that she created to try and get sympathy.
