One Direction: Rock Me Meaning
Rock Me Lyrics
Do you remember summer '09?
Wanna go back there every night,
Just can't lie, was the best time of my life,
Lying on the beach as the sun blew out,
Playing this guitar by the fire too loud,
Oh my, my, they could never shut us...
-
It's about sex. Everyone should know that. A lot of there songs mean stuff like that but they change it to make it age appropriate for smaller kids. I'm ten and I know Rock Me is about sex. Ok. ITS ABOUT SEX!!!!
-
" rock me hit the petal heavy metal"
are all words by queen so you really
can't say that one direction truly knows the meaning to that bit. only queen knows . if they can talk to him i will shit in my pants. -
I & my family all agree that "Rock Me" Does not mean "Fuck me" But, if you look it up on google, "Liam Payne interview" He talks about how he lost his virginity, which means it was his first time having sex. I'm almost positive all of them have and will have sex. But, it does not mean his gf wanted him to "fuck her" It means he and his girlfriend talked it out & had sex. Explain to me why it means they humped each other? God. You all are perverts!
-
Its truly going back to a memory that liam and his gf experienced.
-
The boys did say in an interview that in summer 2009 (like it says in the song) Liam was on the beach with his girlfriend, and was singing her a song on his guitar. Then as it says in the song, his girlfriend whispered the words "I want you to fuck me" well obviously they wouldn't put fuck me in the song, there are too many younger kids. But seriously, that's what it means. Liam lost his virginity that night, replace the words "fuck me" with "rock me" in the song and sing it. It will make way more sense...
-
Well It could have two meanings. Rock my world or sex. Its not a bad thing its normal but they couldn't put fuck me because of the younger fans so they put rock me. Also I think it's about when Liam lost his virginity.
-
It's about when Liam lost his virginity on the beach in summer '09. They actually said that. Liam admitted it.
-
I'm pretty sure the song is about impressing someone.
-
I'm English. Rock me does not, and has never meant impress me.
It is often used sexually and even sounds similar to a ruder alternative. -
ITS ABOUT iMPRESSING fOR GODS SAKE! WHY ARE YOU ALL SO THICK? well, the people that believe its about sex!
-
Well To be honest and on my opinion It could be about 'sex' its legal for them obviously cause in Britain the legal age is 16 and there all above the age as the youngest is 19 and the oldest is 21 as i said its legal in Britain and where they all live is like 2 or less hours away from me.
They are obviously are aware they have younger fans and i am sure half of them don't know what sex means so that's why they have put 'Rock me' cause in case they did term it about sex they wouldn't understand,But then again it could have other meanings that opinion was just mine! -
i think it might be about having sex on a beach, like that part "under the moonlight we stare at the sea, the wordss you whicper i will always believe" the second part i think might be about being unhappy before, and now they've got some thing 'fun' to do, so they are happy again.

Rock me= fuck me
Hit the pedal= hit the good spots
Heavy metal= hard
Show me you care= show me you want the d.

I really love this song, I think it's great! If it's about sex, it's about sex. It's not like sex is bad... It's how we are alive!! I personally think it I about sex. I think when they say rock me, they are asking for sex, or a symbolism of love. And if they do get "rocked" they want it rough. There for the line, "hit the pedal, heavy metal, show me you care" Not saying it is about sex, that's just my thought. And in the beginning of summer 09, they are talking about a sweet past memory try have whether it be love based or not it was a good past time. If it is about sex, I will still love this song, it is without a doubt my favorite song ever!! And it's not like other musical bands or artist have never sang about sex or sexual actions. Take Rihhana my cousin is 4 and loves her. Doesn't mean it is bad. If you don't know what sex is, how can you think about it? I mean if this what the song truly means, I find that perfectly okay. But, I do also think this song could be a about good memories with someone or each other. When they say Rock Me they could also mean rock their world! An make them happy, and just a good time, like it was in summer 09. If the song is about sex, it is about sex, which is okay. It's not like sex is a bad word. Rock Me is my ringtone an my mom heard it, and she gets a little weirded out when I kissed to sexual songs. And she clearly heard the ringtone go off, like 5 times and it said Rock me a lot! And she wasn't all weired out, and didn't ask why I was listening to that. He simply asked what tht was and I said my phone! So maybe it's not about sex. Maybe it is. Idk... Lol

I think it was meant to say fuck me but because little kids were going to listen to it they changed the lyrics
