Owl City: Honey and the Bee Meaning
Honey and the Bee Lyrics
That some days I'm a windshield
And other days I'm just a lucky bug
As cold iron rails leave
Old mossy trails through the countryside
The crow and the bean field
Are my best friends but
Boy, I need a hug (boy, I need a...

The first section is most likely talking about how the male in the "story" can sometimes have good days, sometimes bad, but either way he is moving along the path of life. (that was so metaphorical XD)
Next he talks of how he has friends and family, but "boy I need a hug", he needs someone else.
Main part - He sees someone he falls in love with at first sight, the girl sees him and is afraid. "If the green left the grass on the other side, I would make like a tree and leave" if the man didn't make a move, the girl would just leave, but then "if I reached for your hand, would your eyes get wide" what if he went up to her?
The girl is "a chickadee in the love with the sky", as she is in love with the man, but she's afraid he'll forget about her.
Then they come to the conclusion that they both really do love each other, and the song ends. ^-^ -
This is possibly about love at first sight.

Its about a girl who was yes, as expected, hurt badly with relationship problems in the past. In my opinion hes telling her to look on the better side of things, "Dont remind me some days im the windsheild and other days im just a lucky bug" some days adams fine, other days he lonely and just getting theough a day, the bee, or the girl is sinfing about she lives him but shes scared of getting hurt. " Honey and the Bee" is implying how they automatically clicked. I havent seen a bee who doesnt like honey; have you? I'm 11 so to you teens ir adults my opinion may not matter but you know oh well.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

I think this is a song about a boy falling in love with a girl who had just gotten out of a relationship, that was not really meant, which she had quickly gotten into, so she's scared of falling in love again.
