Simple Plan: Grow Up Meaning
Grow Up Lyrics
and this is what I like
GC, Sum and Blink and Mxpx rocking my room
if your looking for me I'll be at the show
I could never find a better place to go
Until the day I die
I promise I won't change
so you better give up
I...

#1 top rated interpretation:I think this is a really great song. It is saying that they don't want to be mature, they just want to be who they are. It's about not wanting to be someone you're not. They're basically saying 'try as hard as you want to change me, but you can't.'

I am the one that did this, I didn't know how this website worked so I messed up. Anyways, this is my interpretation. The song “Grow Up” is about being immature and proud of it. They want to have fun and not want to be told to grow up. It is about the world trying to make you be something you aren't, Simple Plan just want people to stay true to themselves. They are saying ‘Try as hard as you want to change me, but you can’t.’ Many people are trying to form and shape their identities, but they want to figure out life for themselves. They don't want anyone to tell them what they can and can't do. They feel like the world is going one way and they want to go another way. They want to be free and not have to deal with responsibilities.
