Simple Plan: Jet Lag Meaning
Jet Lag Lyrics
(I miss you more than anything)
I'm back at home, you feel so far
(Waiting for the phone to ring)
It's getting lonely living upside down
I don't even want to be in this town
Trying to figure out the time...
-
You say good morning
When it's midnight
Going out of my head
Alone in this bed
I wake up to your sunset
And it's driving me mad
I miss you so bad
And my heart, heart, heart is so jet-lagged
Heart, heart, heart is so jet-lagged
Heart, heart, heart is so jet-lagged, is so jet-lagged -
Jet Lag is about a couple who miss each and can't wait to see each other. They both live in different time zones. The girl keeps on doing things so she can stop thinking about him and not miss him so much. They both love each other.
The LDR are common since the old generation and it still happens today. Solution for these problems, visit each other like the recent comment posted. Or couples can use the social media websites or have a webcam or camera to see each other, it depends upon their decisions and they have to compromise for their relationship to work.
Not a two-timer ( meaning no bf and no guy friend) -
I'm in this situation right now. This song is literally my relationship. I visited my fiancee in Turkey a few weeks ago and I've been slowly getting in a darker and darker place because we're far away from each other. She's 7-8 hours ahead depending on daylight savings and it's frequently the case that I get a Günaydın text at midnight. This song has been wrecking me the last couple days. I miss her so bad. I love her so much.

i honestly think it means that there in love but they are far away from each other (as in Canada-London) and since they are on the other side of the earth its so hard to talk to each other because the time difference (Canada and London are 9 hour difference)
when one of the are going to bed the other is just waking up so its hard to talk to each other. -
One of them left for like a job or something and they miss each other. They are counting down to when the other one will be home. And they are trying to distract themselves from thoughts of the other.
