Loser of the Year Lyrics

There’s a lot of talk about me,
People lining up to meet me.

I think this song is about a guy who has it all: fame, money, etc. and he up until recently had a girlfriend that he really loved. For whatever reason she left him, and now he feels like nothing can make him feel better, he feels like such a loser because she left.

When he says "you make me wanna shut it all down, throw it all away, cuz im nothing if i don't have you" i think he means that he wants to just put it on hold and get rid of it all and make things right.

The concept of loser of the year is about this male point of view, is when is a really big star and he is very popular, so he still has feelings for someone, but he is pointing the arrow to his dreams than to his love, so I suppose thats the concept, hope it helped!

This song explain the relashonship between love and money. He has everything from the life but he feels like it's all just a show. In the refrain he undestand money don't bring him happiness because he is nothing without the girl he loves and he feels like a loser and money won't make him feel better.
