   I believe that this song was written as a thank you to someone who helped the writer and honestly I can relate to this song in so many ways it is unreal. everyone has suicidal thoughts but think about the people who love you like your family think about how devastated they would be if you died and they didn't get to say goodbye or maybe even watch you grow into a sophisticated adult.....

   I see this song a prayer of thanks to God. The words sound to me like they are speaking to The Lord, who saved the person from killing themselves, as He is the one who will truly accept us. God saved our lives, and I believe this song interprets that.
