   I feel like this song is about this guy who has tried to kill kill himself but comes to realise he only has one life ( I want to fight for this save me from this darkness I reach for the light) and he should live it. He may have had a near death experience he wants to live another life with a different story (The choice is mine I've made up my mind) and is praying for forgiveness from God.

   The song is about someone who is "spiritually dead", but he soon realizes he can be "born again" by accepting Jesus into his life. However, Christianity is a hated religion in many countries (many are persecuted just for mentioning Jesus), and he comes to an "intersection" in life.("The choice is my mine,I've made up my mind")
   One street is to accept Jesus, the other is to turn away. The person chooses Jesus, and as a result, he is reborn again,and now he has the chance to start over and live how God would want him to live.

It's about regeneration; the new life we find in Christ ("now I'm free to start again"). This song is pure worship! This song would be great in the background at a mass baptism.
