The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus: Face Down Meaning
Song Released: 2006
Face Down Lyrics
one look put's the rhythm in my hand.
Still I'll never understand why you hang around
I see what's going down.
Cover up with make up in the mirror
tell yourself it's never gonna happen again
you cry...
-
i was watching them on tv and it said that this song was written for ronnie winter's girlfriend in 2004
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
The second interpretation and the last one are one hundred percent right. And any red jumpsuit fan knows the last interpretation came from the website.

Yea this song was about him and a few other band members....Wich he didn't name......And he said he saw that form of abuse when he stopped for a cigarette or went to a store. And it was very common where he lived...
"Where I come from, you see it when you go to the store, you see it when you stop for a smoke, you see it all the time," winter says. "it’s something everybody sees and doesn’t do anything about because they’re just so accustomed to it. I was the same way and I was a victim of it. So the best way I could think of to get people to not make the same mistake I did was to write about it."
yea that's what I know about the song.... -
I think this song is about abuse, no matter who it may be towards.Yes, he said he was literally talking about his family, but I think this song could be realted to by anyone who is abused in anyway.
-
No no no. This song is about ronnie winter's(the singer) family and his childhood. Here is a quote from an interview, " I am literally talking about my family. It's not that I was inspired to write the song it's that I was depressed enough to write it." in another interview with the band he says he can explain every instance and every person the songs are about.
