   it's obvious this song is about the band and their unbreakable friend ship they were friends before the band I think when Luke says "take me as I am and I will take you as you are" it means no matter what the other 3 do or who they are he will always be there for them. I think when Michael is talking about life being like a poem that's not perfect is everything they have done and problems they went through together. When they say "memories I hold to keep safe" I think it means over the past 12 year's they made so many they will never forget the times they had or who they were before they become so famous. Over all I think they're saying no matter what happens they are and always will be best friends.
