Black Veil Brides: Sweet Blasphemy Meaning
Sweet Blasphemy Lyrics
Unveil the sacred order, hymns of falling down
You told the greatest stories, of love and bleeding crowns
But to the sick and hungry, you can not be found
We are young and we are...
-
Does anyone even know what blasphemy is?
-
"Through sadness you have taught us to be one with the crowd" that right there kind of gives you an idea about the song. I think this song is about how some kids try so hard to be "cool" and fit in. Most of the time they end up being sad. This whole song is about how all you need and to be yourself.
-
That religion is crutch for mankind, and that the young are the hope for the future and that we should get rid of religion.
-
umm btw it has religious undertones check the vocab of sum of the words its talking about how just because you dress in black doesn't mean god will hate you and that all that religious bullshit is just that bullshit, the out in the open message IS be who you want not who THEY want.
-
I think (this is gonna be controversial) that the song is about how there are so many flaws in the Christian religion and that it's all a lie. It fits when you hear "Silence the crooked holy, unchain the tied and bound" and when you remember that Andy Six is an atheist.
-
'' through saddness you hhave teached us to be one with the crowd'' Is the first line i think the song is about trying to fit in. That someone has told you the only way to be happy is to fit in and Andy Sixx is saying he now knows its not
-
It means you are who you are. Don't join the crowd. If you're emo be emo if you're a racist be a racist. Who cares people should be who THEY want to be.
