Eminem: Not Afraid Meaning
Song Released: 2010
Not Afraid Lyrics
I’m not afraid to take a stand
Everybody come take my hand
Let's walk together, through the storm
Whatever weather, cold or warm
Just let you know that, you’re not alone
Holla if you feel like you’ve been down the same...

This song is about Marshall getting over his addiction. When he was a kid he did not have it easy.He also sings about him raising his daughters. He explained that getting over his drug addiction was not easy.Marshall did not also make some good choices with his family. In this song he basically realizes how lucky he is and how far is has gotten away from his addiction. MARSHALL IS MY RAP SAVIOR
-
It's all about the illuminati life.

This is unlike any other Eminem songs, it is somehow motivating, but it is a masterpiece. Some people claim that he was Illuminati and left before he released this song, but I don't believe that. That is mainly because of his life, he's got a lot of fans (this might make you suspect that he's Illuminati) but also he has dealt with many terrible things throughout his life. When he started out as a white rapper, he was not popular, and he didn't get his first award until 1999 (1992 was his first records deal). There are many other artists who get real popular without striving a bit.
He's repeatedly said that he didn't worship the Devil (e.g. single "Still Don't Give a Fuck") and yet people still doubt him. Of course he has many obscene and violent lyrics which people may consider satanic, but they don't represent his true identity. Hold on, his lyrics are anti-gay, right? How can an Illuminati be anti-gay?
The song Not Afraid is not concerned with satanic things, but rather personal things (remember he has had an unpleasant life).
EMINEM WAS NEVER AND ISN'T AN ILLUMINATI OR A SATANIST. -

Eminem begans by saying that his lyrics wont deliver the message without him reading it out to us. He goes on to talk about how he being a white beat all odds and rose uo to the top in Rapping ...but it all came with a price;his family. Eminem continues to talk about the battle between the two parts of himself Marshall Mathers and Slim Shady and how this is affecting his family life. Everything comes at a price
-
hes talking about how he has come through all the bad things in life. like kim, drugs, and ect. but hes ready to put his life back together and anyone else who wants to help or need their life put back together they will go through it together.
