Simple Plan: Jump Meaning
Jump Lyrics
I don’t wanna wake up today
Cuz every day’s the same
And I’ve been waiting so long
For things to change
I’m sick of this town
Sick of my job
Sick of my friends cuz everyone’s jaded
Sick of this place
I wanna break free
I’m so...

This song can be taken in multiple ways.
This song can possibly interpreted as a song about someone contemplating suicide (by means of jumping off a high point). He talks about possible fear of his future, not caring tonight, wanting to end his sorrows, and not coming back.
But if you're looking at it from another point of view (especially considering the music is more upbeat), it can be interpreted as feeling like you're in a rut and needing to start over; possibly moving out of town, getting a new job, new friends, trying to take control of your life, and never looking back at your past mistakes.
Overall, it's a song about feeling frustrated with your current life situation.
