   It's about jesus. Skillet are a christian band, and he sings definitly about jesus or god. He sings he goes on his knees, and the "secret place" is heaven. God bless you and don't forget, Jesus saves and loves you!

   In this song Skillet is talking about letting go off all the sin that has held you down in your relationship with Jesus Christ. And you have to find that special place "Where all my wrongs have been erased you have Forgiven" There isn't a sin that God will not forgive you just have to ask Jesus into your heart and accept him as your Lord ans Savior. Then will you be able to ask God for forgiveness.

   My inrerpretation of this is both being unfaithful to God and the woman or person you love. I have recently gotten back into the word of God and in this song for me is going to pray for his love and to forgive you and give you strength enough to go and fix the mistakes that you have done while being away from him and what makes you happy.

   even we all mess up but If we get down on our knees and pray to God, Asking Him to forgive us, He will. Believe me, God doesn't hold grudges against us

   humans dont know why we do this

   he tried to have faith in God but couldnt because the only way to regain faith is by asking the Lord

   embrace means to clasp by your bosom which God does

   he is talking about when jesus died for our sins

   when ever we brake a commandment we denie God but he repented and was forgiven

   I think the song is about someone cheated on their partner and now they regret it and is asking for forgiveness hence the parts, "forgive me now cause I have been unfaithful" and "forgive i'm ashamed i've loved another I can't explain cause I don't know no one can take your place and there is no other" and other parts but if you think about it, it does make sense but that's just my interpretation:).
