Ahh, Ahhh
Oh, burning now I bring you Hell!

Read me tonight, when the warnings said leave a shudder upon you
Running from all that you feared in your life
Soul of the night, when the...

I got the song sent to me by a girl who I’ve known for a long time but we have never been in a relationship, she called me out of the blue and wanted me to come be with her. I didn’t as I am happily married. Should I be scared?

Why does everyone thinks that the lyrics are about a broken relationship or something like that ?

Its about falling in love with someone and then have them deceive you or leave you for someone else. The song is the end result of what type of anger you would feel when this happens. Maybe a little homicidal!

I think that this song is about how a priest or someone else of religious authority led him to be devout in that faith and then profited form this faith and left him to die while he went off with his profits(money or something else) and he escaped the religion and sought his revenge on this authority and the faith itself

it doesn't have to be any thing religious it could be hatred for someone or thing because of betrayal i think all the religious lyrics just put an emphasis on the song...

"It's about a person you love who keeps coming in and out of your life, and each time they do, they fuck it up even more."
    -David Draiman (leader singer)

Yeah, it seems like it can have a few meanings, but that's what Dave had meant for it to mean.

I hear anger and the want for revenge. Most hints are "And I can't get round the way you left me out in the open to leave me to die! so how can I, forget the way you lead me through the path into Heaven to leave me behind!" and "Save me, from wreaking my vengeance!"

My interpretation is he got very close to someone. Could be a boy or girl. They had many promises. thus the lyrics "Path into heaven". Then when he was about to reach this the person betrayed him. And left him "in the open" to die. That's how I interpret that part. However, I think he begins to compare his no longer friend to a demon because of the "Get back from me demon or be exorcised!" warning him/her to leave him alone or face him. This is how I see this song. I'm sure their are many more meanings. Thanks for listening :P

To me it seems like he is talking to the devil in an ironic sort of way. saying, "oh Burning?" now i bring you hell. Well that's all I really have..... anyone help me out?
