Eminem: Not Afraid Meaning
Song Released: 2010
Not Afraid Lyrics
I’m not afraid to take a stand
Everybody come take my hand
Let's walk together, through the storm
Whatever weather, cold or warm
Just let you know that, you’re not alone
Holla if you feel like you’ve been down the same...
-
I believe its him sticking up for the Illuminati and the NWO. Remember with these people everything is a double meaning,, "Im not afraid"(to reveal myself) "to take a stand"(for evil) "...come take my hand"(join him and in return receive security and comfort" ... "I shouldn't HAVE to rhyme these lyrics into a rhythm for you to know its a rap" (he and all his fellow artist shouldn't need to use subliminal messages in order to spread their true intentions.
"you said you was king, you lied through your teeth, and for that instead of getting crowd your getting capped" (he isn't referring to satan like many people suspect; satan isn't a king of any sort, he is known as the "prince of darkness" because even to satan god is king),, he's saying he use to believe that god was king like everyone believes, but after seeing the evil of the industry he believes god isn't the "real ruler" and for that he shouldn't be "crowned" (followed) and should be "capped" (turned against)
Towards the end of the song he starts to doubt himself, but either way he has to finish what he started:
P.S for anyone who thinks em is turning on the Illuminati heres proof that your wrong//
He made a song with Rhianna right after called "I love the way you lie" which in terms is really grim,, check it out. -
Its when he wants to go through detoxification, but it is hell for him, that is where the line "im standin up, imma face my demons" is actually him saying all the years of having his daughters and not being there for a while, he wants to be clean and wants a fresh start
-
He's clearly talking bout the illuminati, or new world order. He says "I admit it I might have done it subliminally for you"
-
I think this song is about Eminem getting clean. He comes out and says it, "It was my decision to get clean. I did it for me." There's a lot of hidden messages about his recovery in the NA program like "you're not alone." That's said in NA. He's clean and back better than ever. I love this song. What an inspiration for everyone staying clean and for people trying to get clean. Go Em. Awesome.

Eminem is talking about the Illuminati " time to exercise these demons " "He's married to the game, His gift is a curse, forget the earth,**** the whole universe " " I just can't keep living this way
So starting today, I'm breaking out of this cage
I'm standing up, I'mma face my demons
I'm manning up, I'mma hold my ground
I've had enough, now I'm so fed up
Time to put my life back together right now " He's trying to get out of Illuminati, he's tired of the demons he's wants to break free! -
i think this song is about eminem quiting drugs for his family and his fans,
"And to the fans, I'll never let you down again, I'm back
I promise to never go back on that promise, in fact
Let's be honest, that last Relapse CD was "ehhhh"
showing that he is willing to quit drugs to make a better album, and when he says he will never go back on that i promise, this is meaning he will not go back on drugs and he promises.
this is my interpretaion of this song, hope you agree. -
i would have to say that it is about the hard times that we all humans beings go through in this world...we all know that their are things about ourselves we have to change..i think this song has alot to do with eminem going through a dark valley..keep searching eminem..youll figure it out, you have emense power in your words..pray for answers...

He talks bout being in detox. He wants to stop drugs for his daughter. He has enough of spending christmases alone wihtout her all high and miserable.
-
I think he's talking about the Illuminati.
-
I think he is talking about when he left rap for a while and now he is saying he is back for good mentioning his previous album relapse wasn't too good but he won't be like that any more he will rap like before for all of his fans
