Hollywood Undead: A Knife Called Lust Meaning
A Knife Called Lust Lyrics
[Shady Jeff:] Lets go right now!
[J-dog:]
I look alive, I'm dead inside. My heart has holes and black blood flows.
We'll do some drugs, well fall in love and get fucked up while the world just shrugs.
With no thought...

Honestly I relate to this song on so many levels. And to me it's talking about how the world damages innocent people. How hard life can be and how our society makes it worse. It's about things we go through and how it changes us. How it slowly makes us detached. How medicine just makes it worse or doesn't help at all. That everything's an illusion, the trust you have in people, medicine, everything has facade and it's about seeing through it and trying to be above it all...

I feel like this song talks about how everybody has or will stab you in the back and how nobody cares about you but you do have a voice and that any one can fuck your trust! its a great song H.U. 4 life!

I think it's about he's life is he'll he knows he can't trust he's friend because he says your friend will stab you and the back just to F some girl hes just sick of the lust

I think it means that no matter what happens to anyone, society and even people who are your 'friends' will end up betraying you and brushing you aside just for their own gain. But that's life is it not? People in this world are so concerned for themselves that if your about to die but saving you was also dangerous, count how many seconds it will take them to a) run, b) pretend they don't know you, or c) pretend their coming but 'accidentally' not make it time. If you want proof of that, take a look around you once in a while. Watch how quickly 'friends' abandon each other or talk crap about each other. Surprisingly I see that so often it doesn't strike me as betrayal, but more as human nature! So yeah, sorry this is so long I just wanted to tell you guys what I think. Hope you guys don't judge! :)

I think it's being young and hurt. They talk about being young and being fucked with by society. People who choose to be themselves in a different way do it because they've been changed (whether they admit it or not) and they get hell for it. I love this song and band and I go thru my interpretation of this every day
-
It's about growing up and having it tough. Having a messed up family, having shit friends, a shit society, etc. I hope everyone knows it does get better.

Awesome Song. I love it. And it's all so true! The first time I heard this band was last summer. My friend is a fan of HU and she let me listen to some songs in the little park we go to. Knife Called Lust was the first song I heard. (second was No5. and third, everywhere i go.)
Anyway, I've loved this band ever since. <3 HU4L ;) -
I think this song is about hating the world and wanting to commit suicide to escape from it.
