Hollywood Undead - Glory Meaning
Glory Lyrics
Welcome to the world you see
An AK with a couple magazines
Some slut it is; don't matter to me
Scatter the ashes on the seven seas
That sickness, that feeling inside you
That's weakness, don't let it divide you
Keep this, that...
-
It's about war.

I definately think this song relates to soldiers, How we fight almost blindly in a lot of cases telling ourselves its for the greater good of the country but never really knowing if it is good or not. The end "Nobody runs or makes it out alive" i think relates to how soldiers either die in combat or come home with plethora of problems
-
The song is about how people go to war just for the glory and possibly about how nobody ever thinks about who's being killed, as long as they are under the influence that it's for their country. "Who's blood is this? Don't matter to me" can support this and is the 3rd line, not about some slut, and also the following lines support that 2nd theory
"No life loss can make it stumble
Our empire will never crumble"
As for the first theory, the following lines should provide great support
"We did it for the glory
The glory
Only the glory." That's my thoughts, thanks -
i think this song is about looking at how many modern rappers view murder as a way to get up in there job
