After her face heals the boyfriend is excited to see if his plan worked, turns out her face doesn't come out as he expected so he leaves her and finds another innocent woman to see if his plan will work the next time.

   It’s about a girl who’s boyfriend made her get plastic surgery because he thought she wasn’t objectively pretty. When he realizes all the plastic makes her look bad, he leaves her to try again on another girl.

   It really tells people that they don’t have to get surgeries just to be what people think pretty is. You’re beautiful just the way you are.

   I believe the song's meaning is about how girls want to get/ or forced to get plastic surgery because they want to look pretty, yet the hints of how it will make them regret it in the song are everywhere.
   And in the music video it is about "the perfect man" that she falled for and he pressured her into getting plastic surgery, when he saw that she did not come out as pretty as he wanted as it quotes; " Do you promise that you'll stay forever? Even if her face don't stay together?" . Obviously, he does not stay forever as we see in the end of the music video he's swaying another innocent, beautiful woman into doing the same thing.

   Women get plastic surgery to look beautiful, like how you change a Mrs. Potato Head's face. It also says that kids are lucky to not care, but they probably will someday. "Just be sure to read the warning kids, 'cause pretty soon you'll be bored of it" you'll realize that it wasn't worth it to get plastic surgery. Women will also question if their man will stay with them based on how they look.

    This song is about a girl who falls in love with "the perfect guy" who buys her all this pretty stuff and soon enough he gets bored of her because shes not a fucking barbie doll and makes her n appointment to get plastic surgery and get bigger boobs when she is already perfect and its heart breaking when he sees that she made a mistake because in the end he gets another pretty girl to do the same and I guess this song shows that you should not change yourself no matter what people say because there is no such thing as perfect and you should like yourself no matter what people say - a melanie martinez fan :3 uwu owo.

    I think Potato Head is about the struggles young women, women even kids have with their appearances, and that society sets a standard and shows “perfect celebrities, models etc” which all had plastic surgery. And the line saying “Sexual, hey girl if you want to feel Sexual you can always call up a professional they stick pins in you like a vegetable” so i think this is about how some women don’t feel pretty or good enough for who they love and that they will get face lifts, butt lifts, breast implants for them to believe that they look beautiful, and for their partner to love them.

    In this song it's singing about what girls do to be beautiful. How girls get plastic surgery just so they can be loved. The phrase, "Baby soft skin turns into leather" means when girls get plastic surgery and their skin hardens.
    
    And when the song says "Oh Mr. Patato Head tell me, how did you afford her surgery, do you swear you'll stay forever, even her face don't stay together" means will the boy stay with the girl even her face gets botched?
    
    Another thing is the song is called "Mrs. Patato Head" is cause girls get plastic surgery and and have pins stuck into them like vegetables. It said so in the song.
