Je pense que l'interprétation de cette chanson est propre à chacun.
Selon moi cette chanson parle d'une personne qui se perd dans sa propre vie, qui a perdu ce qu'elle était avant ou son bonheur. Elle essaie de battre la douleur mais elle aime cet état de tristesse, ce qui la fait passer pour folle.
Elle ne veut pas retourner en arrière mais elle est tournée vers le passé. Une partie d'elle-même est en train de sombrer dans les ténèbres et elle essaie de la sauver. Elle se rend finalement compte que la partie d'elle-même qu'elle a perdu ne reviendra jamais et qu'elle devra avancer.
Je ne sais pas vous mais je me retrouve parfaitement dans ces paroles et dans cette interprétation. -

This is hoping, being for someones well-being? or mental state, I think the former.
A mentally "I am giving up" all of my desires for this, I.E. I gave up that "dream job" "dream house" something thats more "life-long".
I am on the edge, with very little room for error.
Doing it for someone specific. but perhaps saying it to someone else?

Far from where you have faith within, if it was transcribed to knowledge, it would make "more sense" they don't know what is wrong, so they are putting faith into something they don't actually know about? - Perhaps treatment for something?

I think it's about depression. Maybe someone you love is in a depression, and that person can feel like "loosing your mind" and "being buried alive", their loved ones want to get the person they were before it but that person has changed ("drowned")...

The song is about losing yourself. Trying to get back to the person you were before a trauma changed you but finding that person you were has faded away.

Can the song have any meaning about two women in love ?

For me, this song poiniantly describes my struggle with addiction and the damage it has caused to my relationship with my wife.
