The song 3 is about the west Memphis 3 who were charged with the murder of three 8 year old boys. The three were charged on the soul fact that they were different from the rest of their community. At the end of their trial 2 of them were given life sentences while one of the boys were put to death. it was later discovered that all three boys were innocent. this song speaks to the injustice of the death penalty.
