Liberate your mind
You mother fucker you’re so narrow-minded, so narrow-minded
(Hes talking about people who just stick to a book (the bible) in a sence limiting there minds to everything else).
Bold mother fucker, don’t you limit your mind
(self explanitory)
at the end of the song there is a quote
“Out of Zion shall come forth the law
And the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem
Nation shall not raise sword against nation
And they shall not learn war anymore
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken”
(in a way I feel he is kind of mocking the bible, becuase we are in war and we kill people and we don't seem to care) -
It's about religion, yes, about how people are always being so hateful because of their different beliefs, and that they're so narrow-minded because. It's about how if you want your so-called Modern Messiah to come, you have to quit your blind hatred.
"Waiting for your modern Messiah to take away the hatred that darkens the light in your eyes; still awaiting I." -
um yeah i agree with the waiting for God to come and take away all the hatred in this world part but come on David believes in the bible and God he said it himself why would he mock it??? that quote at the end abt Zion that is an actual quote from the Holy Quran, and of course the Old Testament this song is about not letting hatred rule your life.
-
He is saying he is waiting for the messiah to come and take away all the evil in the world. David Draiman is Jewish and the Jewish religion believes that the Messiah will come, as a savior to mankind. In the song he quotes a prophecy made by Isaiah in the Old Testament about the Messiah. He is saying 'open your eyes' to someone, "All the hate in your heart will be leaving you blind, so bold motherfucker don't you limit your mind. Not sure to whom this is directed to. Maybe those who dont believe or just to hateful people in general, or to those who persecute religion. U can definitely see a solid message in this song. I personally like it

The song is about not hating one another. Remember, David is jewish...
